Paddle Forge is an independent table tennis companion for iPhone and iPad. We built it for club players, casual rally partners, and anyone who wants one steady place to train, score, learn, and follow the sport — without noise, accounts, or clutter.
Inside the app you browse drills and hour guides, run live matches with friends, take the rules quiz, read history stories, and follow headlines on Pulse. Your match logs, training data, bookmarks, and progress stay on your device.

Paddle Forge is an independent companion app. News articles open third-party websites in Safari. We are not affiliated with ITTF, WTT, or named athletes. Educational content is for learning only and is not official officiating guidance.
Privacy policy
Your records stay on your device.
Paddle Forge is designed around local storage. We do not operate user accounts, and we do not sell your personal information.
Information We Collect
Paddle Forge does not require an account, sign-up, or login. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or location inside the app. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
The following data is stored locally on your device only:
- Match records, scores, notes, and player lists
- Training logs, minutes, streaks, and skill self-assessments
- Bookmarks, read-history, quiz scores, and glossary progress
- Language preference and weekly hours goal
- Cached news headlines (when fetched)
- Widget and Live Activity data shared via App Group
Third-Party Content Services
To show table tennis news headlines, the app may request public articles from the SportMicro Table Tennis API and, as a fallback, the ITTF RSS feed. Headlines are cached on your device for at least 15 minutes. We do not transmit your match logs, training data, or bookmarks to these services.
Quick links on Pulse may open official sites such as ITTF, World Table Tennis, and Olympics table tennis pages in Safari. News story links open the original publisher’s website.
How We Use Information
Because we do not collect personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to profile, share, or sell. All app features — Pulse, Train, Match Desk, Learn, History, and Progress — operate using data stored on your device.
Data Storage & Retention
All of your content remains in the app’s private storage on your device. There is no cloud sync and no remote backup operated by us. Deleting the app permanently removes associated local data from your device. You can clear cached news from Settings at any time.
Widgets & Live Activity
If you enable Home Screen widgets or Live Activity for matches and training sessions, those features use Apple’s system frameworks and a shared App Group on your device. We do not receive widget or Lock Screen content on our servers.
Children’s Privacy
The Application does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because no personal data is collected or transmitted to us, the app aligns with COPPA and similar child-privacy standards.
Your Control
You can edit or delete your local data at any time through the app — remove bookmarks, clear the news cache, or uninstall the Application to remove all stored content from your device.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect app improvements or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. The core commitment — local storage, no accounts, no sale of personal data — will not change without clear notice.
